Pangasinan is the 3rd biggest province in the Philippines.

Pangasinan is a province under Ilocos Region(Region I) of the Republic of the Philippines.

Pangasinan means "place of salt-making" derived from the root word asin meaning "salt".

Pangasinan is also the name of the people and primary language spoken in the province.

The Pangasinan language is one of the officially recognized regional languages in the Philippines.
